About Us John Quirke an engineer by profession commenced covering sporting events as a photographic journalist in 1986 and went on to a career change in 1991 when he set up his own photographic business in Navan. John Quirke Photography initially specialised in high quality images for re-production , the business quickly expanded to include weddings, a large Commercial and Public Relations portfolio and an expanding portrait studio which is now located at a new purpose built studio at Blackcastle Shopping Centre, Navan. John has won many photographic awards and his work has featured on National and Local Television. Barry Cronin joined in 2001 and has quickly gained a reputation as a top class photographer. Barry is responsible for the I.T. section and his experience and expertise with computers has added a new and exciting dimension to the business. Carmel Quirke joined in 2002 and has responsibility for all the Office Administration and Accounts. Also photographers David Mullin and Gerry Shanahan are well known on the sporting and social scene on regular assignments for John Quirke Photography. Clients include: The Meath Chronicle, The Weekender, National Newspapers, People Newspapers, Leinster Council CLG (Leinster Hurling and Football Programmes), CPA, Insurance Companies, P.R. Companies, Political Parties, Government Depts., Sporting Organisations, Schools etc. John Quirke is a member of the NUJ / PPAI / Navan Chamber of Commerce and Simonstown Gaels GFC. |
